Scott Spark 940 2025

Climbing feels effortless thanks to the lightweight frame, and the suspension handles rocky descents better than I expected for a short-travel bike. It's fast and playful on the trails.

Was hesitant about the shorter travel at first, but on the trail the light weight makes it climb like a rocket and the 29-inch wheels roll over everything. The spark’s handling is so playful that I’ve actually started taking jumps I used to skip.

The 120mm of travel is just right for the fast, flowy singletrack I’ve been riding, and I’m surprised how playful it feels climbing. The whole bike came ready to rip out of the box, and I’ve already put in a solid week of evening rides without a single issue.
