About Continental Gatorskin Black Edition 700C Folding Tyre
If you ride in harsh conditions, whether in the city or on long tours, the Continental Gatorskin is built to handle it. This tire is designed to be strong, durable, and resistant to punctures — making it a go-to choice for riders who demand reliability over long distances or in challenging urban environments.

Why it works for you:
Puncture and cut resistance: Continental uses PolyX Breaker™ technology, inspired by car tire engineering. The tightly woven polyester layers create a dense fabric that protects against sharp objects without increasing rolling resistance. In practice, this means fewer flats while keeping your ride efficient.

Durable sidewalls: DuraSkin® sidewall protection shields the tire from impacts, curb scrapes, and general wear. On messenger bikes, touring bikes, or even in endurance racing conditions, this added protection keeps the tire performing longer. The brown sidewalls are a visual indicator of this extra protection.

Handmade quality: Each Gatorskin tire is carefully crafted to ensure consistency and reliability.

Ideal use:
Urban commuting where curbs and debris are common

Touring and long-distance rides where puncture resistance is essential

Riders who prioritize durability and reliability over marginal weight savings

Key features:
Strong, puncture-resistant PolyX Breaker

Reinforced DuraSkin® sidewalls for extra protection

Efficient rolling despite tough protective layers

Handmade for quality and consistency

Brown sidewalls indicate reinforced casing

If you want a tire that keeps you rolling no matter what the road throws at you, the Gatorskin is a dependable choice.
