About Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO 3C MaxxTerra MTB Tyre
With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tyre combo!

Features
Ramped and siped tread to roll fast and track straight under braking

Wide trail (WT) casing specs are optimized for 30-35mm inner width rims

Technology
EXO: An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected.

MAXXTERRA: An intermediate compound configuration use in select mountain tyres. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip.

TUBELESS READY: Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tire; and less chance of flatting because there is no tube. Liquid sealants should only be used in the following types of tires: tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless ready. The use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tire will void the warranty.

Customer Reviews (4.3 / 5 · 3 reviews)

Michael ★★★★★

Rode these through a wet, rocky section that usually has me sliding around, and the 3C MaxxTerra compound grabbed hold like glue. The EXO casing gives me peace of mind without feeling like a boat anchor on climbs.

Olivia ★★★★★

Finally, a tyre that hooks up through loose corners without that vague sliding feeling. The EXO casing seems tough enough for my local rocky trails, and the 3C MaxxTerra compound gave me serious confidence on a recent wet root section.

Henry E. ★★★☆☆

It corners well enough, but I wasn't blown away after reading all the hype about the side knobs. The center tread feels like it wears a bit quicker than I'd like on hardpack.
