Avanti Montari Jnr 24 2025

My son took this bike straight onto the local single-track, and the smaller frame gave him the confidence to handle the bumps easily. The front suspension soaked up the roots much better than his old bike.

The 24-inch wheels feel solid on gravel paths, and the gearing shifts smoothly enough for a beginner rider. Assembly was straightforward, though the instructions could be a bit clearer for one step. It's a solid bike for the price.

Great size for a 7-year-old to start trail riding, and the geometry feels like a proper adult MTB shrunk down rather than a toy. Assembly took me a while and the brakes needed adjusting out of the box, but once set up it handles gravel paths just fine.
