The grip on these is fantastic—I felt totally stable scrambling over loose gravel and wet rocks on my first hike out of the box. The co-molded outsole really digs in, and the fit is snug right from the start with no rubbing.

The nylon and rubber outsole has been a lifesaver on muddy, rocky trails—my footing feels way more secure than in my old sneakers. They’re also surprisingly comfortable straight out of the box, so no painful break-in period for me.

I was a bit worried about break-in time, but the supportive fit was comfortable right out of the box on my first hike. The co-molded outsole gives me great confidence on loose gravel, though I wish the toe box was just a hair wider.
