The fit feels dialed straight out of the box, and the walking grip on loose gravel is genuinely reassuring when I have to hop off the bike. At this weight, I forget I’m wearing them by mile ten, which is exactly what I wanted for mixed terrain.

The sole grip is fantastic for scrambling up loose sections when I have to hop off and hike, and it's noticeably lighter than my old MTB shoes. They're stiff enough for efficient pedaling on long gravel rides but don't feel like a brick when I'm walking around at a rest stop.
